Time is hard to come by
Wow. When I started this, I figured "Hey, take a couple minutes outta your day...post a couple of thoughts...bing, bang, boom, you're done...no biggie". Yeah, right. It's seems so simple to do, yet in reality, it's much harder. When you have thoughts in your head, you don't have time to post. When your mind is a blank, you have plenty of time. And of course, there's the times where you just don't feel like it. For anyone wondering why I haven't posted a blog lately (hahahahahaahaha....yeah right, again), I apologize.
Anyway, what is there to talk about? Sadly, not alot. But I will do what I can.
Speaking of sadly, some well known people in my old home town died this week. One of cancer, and the other of suicide. (On the subject of suicide, that is a real touchy thing with me. I will go into my real thoughts about that later due to the feelings of fellow classmates that are in pain right now. I will just say that doing that action makes me more mad than sad.) But it truly is terrible when someone a whole town knows passes away. It makes the town feel even smaller afterwards. Like a piece of it is now gone. My prayers go out to his family. I would never ever want to go through that.
Okay, let's quickly jump to a completely different subject altogether. People's laziness and how it affects me. I told ya I was gonna go off sometimes on my pet peeves so don't complain. It's summertime and what says more about summertime than mowing your lawn, or in this case the lack of it. Why can't people get off their lazy butts and cut their own grass anymore? Yeah, I know what you are asking...how could this possibly affect me? Simple. Trucks pulling trailers with 3 tons of mowing and trimming equipment on back. You know it happens to you too. You are in a hurry somewhere and what pulls out in front of you (slowly might I add) but one of these monstrosities. I can't stand it. They drive 5 miles an hour for fear a hoe or something might fall off and Lord help us if they have to turn where you do. They need at least 1-2 miles between cars to feel like they can safely turn. Ooooooh, burns me up. Get outta the freaking way!!! Get a freakin real job!!! People, save your money and cut your own damn grass!!!
Okay, calm down.... . . . . . . . . okay, there. Anyway, some sad news and some anger issues. Ran the gambit today, I guess. Hopefully I will find time to write here again sometime soon....either that or I need to invent something like a time machine or wormhole maker or a time pauser to allow me more time to get on here. Of course, if I did any of those things, I would probably either be too rich or too busy using them for evil intentions to ever write on here. So, there goes that idea. Till next time.

Then you may celebrate the return of Mikey D. Pics will also accompany post when available. Glad to back, ya'll!!!! Till next time. (probably later today)

Grass greener or not?
Ever wonder this?
I swear my life is boring compared to some other people I know. But, boring is good sometimes. (Not sure if really is.......or just trying to make myself feel better)

Blah, Blah, Blah
Yes....blah, blah, blah because I don't really have anything planned to write today, not that I ever have but most of the time I have things on my mind that I can go on.
Nice holiday yesterday with the fam fam...did the old hamburgers thing that is a pre-requisite for a successful Memorial Day it seems. Was yummy, as usual with anything I cook...
The countdown to Gatlinburg is at 3 days. We are slowly getting more excited and more excited the closer it comes. We still haven't made an itinerary but if the funds hold up (and doubt they will), we are gonna try to hit Ober Gatlinburg (awesome fun place on top of a mountain), Wonderworks (crazy upside down house with tons of fun activities for the kids....Google it), and MagiQuest (never done it but looks fun and interesting..think Harry Potter). But the main attraction is always the cabin. Can't wait to chill out up there. Btw, we're taking bets on the over/under on how long after we first walk in the cabin to when the first kid is in the hot tub.....I'm thinking around 8 minutes?!?!.....lol
Another perk of that trip is I get to see my birth mom and sister. You see, I was adopted when I was 3 and never really knew for sure until I was in my 20's or 30's that I was. My adopted mom (my real mom forever)passed away in 2007 and it was around that time that I found my biological mom and sister (with help from my wife). She lives about 4-5 hours away and it was a joy to finally meet them. I try to visit as much as I can but with a family life as hectic as mine, that isn't very often. I grew up an only child so it was cool to find out I had an actual sister. We also have a brother that was adopted out there somewhere but we don't know him or if he even knows he was adopted.
On a completely out in left park subject, I was just looking at one of those demotivational poster thingies and it was talking about the fact that a male lion can mate with a female lion 50 consecutive times a day for 3-5 days in a row. And it shown a picture of a girl with a sandwich saying that when a guy can do that, she will then make him a sandwich. Really???......really????.....think about that for a second. 50 consecutive times, 3-5 days in a row. I believe this is a prime example of "Be careful what you wish for...you may not want it"......lol
Anyway, that's enough blah, blah, blah for now. Till next time.

Lazy Sunday!!!!
Just a lazy crazy Sunday. Been relaxing so much that I forgot about my blog duties.
It's a quick one tonight.....
Just a quick reminder. Contrary to what a lot of people might think, tomorrow is not National Barbequeing Day....It's Memorial Day. Try to take a moment to appreciate what a lot of soldiers have given up over hundreds of years to defend this wonderful country. It's okay to bbq, just remember why we can bbq in freedom.
Btw, on a completely different subject, I hate this time of year. Nothing but reruns on the boob tube. Just had to get that off my chest. (haha, no pun intended with using boob and chest that close together...just a wonderful coincedence).
Also, a quick update on the countdown to departure day for Gatlinburg. We're now at 5 days and counting (4 if you don't count Friday, the day we're leaving). Aren't u excited for us?!?!?
Well, sorry for being quick and short tonight, but I got some macaroni and baked chicken calling my name....you know, like, on cartoons where the smell turns into a finger calling my nose over....yeah, just like that. Till next time.......
